Israel not biased against Christians

Ed Smetana’s letter in the Oct. 16 Fence Post must be answered. He complained that Christians are not getting attention in Palestine and that they are discriminated against by the PLO and Israel. Christians are not allowed to practice in most Muslim countries, but if Mr. Smetana were to visit Israel he would see freedom for all religions including the many different Christian sects and Muslims. Bethlehem is in Muslim hands, so if there is discrimination there don’t blame Israel.
