Celtic Woman coming to North Central College

Irish music sensation Celtic Woman will perform its critically acclaimed holiday show, “A Christmas Celebration — The Symphony Tour,” this holiday season in Naperville.

The concert will showcase the voices of Celtic Woman, accompanied by DuPage Symphony Orchestra. The concert begins at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, in North Central College’s Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton Ave.

The vocal quartet consists of Chloe Agnew, Lisa Kelly, Lisa Lambe and Máiréad Nesbitt. The performance will feature Christmas classics off the 2006 release, “A Christmas Celebration.” The album includes holiday family favorites, including “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “O Holy Night,” “White Christmas” and “Silent Night.”

Since Celtic Woman’s 2005 debut, the all-female ensemble has sold 6 million CDs and DVDs worldwide, had two albums debut in the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200, and had three gold and platinum albums.
