Where’s the urgency about creating jobs?

Our president, supported by members of Congress, has come up with a stimulus plan in which to create jobs. The best plan to stimulate job growth is the ability to make a profit. Currently, many top executives agree that federal regulations including the EPA have discouraged incentives to create or expand current business. A few weeks ago, this paper reported that Canada wanted to build a pipeline into the U.S. to transfer material to make oil. That was held up by an EPA lawsuit. The project passed that problem. What is the status of that project?

A group wanted to build a pipeline in one of the Western states in which to extract crude oil. A type of plant that would grow only on that mountain was holding up that project. What is the status of that project?

Three or four years ago, funds were distributed to build high speed railways. Has the first shovelful of dirt been made yet? The problem with the economy is that there is no sense of urgency.
