Judson ties for CCAC title
Angela Bianchi scored a hat trick Saturday as the Judson University women’s soccer team defeated Illinois Tech 4-1 to win the Eagles’ first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference championship.
Judson (15-2-1, 9-1) tied for the CCAC title with Olivet Nazarene. The Eagles will be the No. 2 seed in next weekend’s CCAC Tournament.
Jenna Steffensen, who was named the NAIA National Player of the Week earlier in the week, scored Judson’s other goal in Saturday’s win.
The 15th win of the season also established a new school record.
