Assessors to answer questions about property tax bills

Wheeling Township Assessor Jerry Sadler and Palatine Township Assessor Terry Kelly will meet with homeowners in Arlington Heights Thursday night to answer questions about their property tax bills and explain how to possibly lower them.

The event, sponsored by Northwest Suburban Taxpayers United, takes place at 7 p.m. in the Buechner Room of Arlington Heights Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road.

The assessors will answer individuals' questions, explain how tax rates are determined and how property owners can appeal their bills.
