Convert old Sherman to VA hospital
What is Sherman Hospital doing with the old Sherman Hospital? Nothing, just making movies and the Greater Elgin Family Care Center moved into it.
But I’ve got a better idea. Give the hospital to the VA; yes, the Department of Veterans Affairs. We need a VA hospital out here. Hines VA and Great Lakes Hospital is far for veterans to get to. And with hundreds if not thousands of veterans and families coming to the Elgin VA hospital, business will grow.
The Greater Elgin Family Care Center can move to Elgin VA clinic on Dundee.
Veterans like to gamble; they will go to the casino.
This all has to be done by our Elgin city manager, mayor and city council and Kane County.
