ComEd to attend Oct. 17 Palatine council meeting

A representative from ComEd will attend the Palatine council meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, to discuss its services and the July 23 storm that resulted in record rainfall and left widespread power outages across the village. Many residences were without power for several days. Representatives of the utility company have appeared at similar meetings in suburbs including ones in Buffalo Grove, Wheeling and Highland Park, to face questions from residents about its storm response and service. The meeting will take place at Palatine village hall, 200 E. Wood St.
