Kane forest preserve district wants your input

Submitted by Forest Preserve District of Kane County

The Forest Preserve District of Kane County invites the public to several meetings to help revise the district’s master plan. The master plan details and prioritizes all capital and natural resources improvements in the forest preserves for the next five years.

Staff will be on hand to describe proposed improvements and solicit feedback and ideas. Input from the six meetings will help develop the guide and vision for the future.

All residents are encouraged to attend and share input on programs and amenities they would most like to see in Kane County forest preserves. Meetings will focus on preserves regionally located near each respective meeting site.

The final public informational meetings will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at these locations:

Ÿ Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Gary Wright Elementary School, 1500 Ketchum Road, Hampshire.

Ÿ Thursday, Oct. 6, at John Shields Elementary School, 85 S. Main St., Sugar Grove.
