Buffalo Grove holds program on access for disabled

Individuals and businesses are invited to learn about disability policies 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Buffalo Grove Village Hall, 50 Raupp Blvd. Topics of discussion may include advising people with disabilities on nondiscrimination requirements in employment, and ensuring disabled access to programs, services and activities. Robin Jones, director of the Great Lakes ADA and Accessible IT Center and instructor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, will provide an informative presentation for businesses and residents. Refreshments will be served. This program is coordinated by the village’s Commission for Residents with Disabilities. Information about Great Lakes ADA is at adagreatlakes.org/GreatLakes/.
