Naval cemetery tour:

The Great Lakes Naval Museum will conduct a free tour of the Naval Station Great Lakes Cemetery beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. Included in the tour will be a visit to the gravesite of Joseph Wallace Gregg, the first recruit to graduate from Naval Station Great Lakes in 1911. The tour, which involves walking and standing, starts at the Great Lakes Naval Museum and will last one to one and a half hours. The tour is open to the public, but registration must be made in advance by calling (847) 688-3154 or glnm@navy.mil.
