Don’t let the protesters camp

I support the recent revolt on Wall Street in NYC, LaSalle Street in Chicago and in other cities worldwide. The inequity in this country is outrageous.

However, I strongly object to our laws in allowing overnight campouts in our parks and other public places after the business day is over.

In fact, parks should be off limits. These are public places for all to use. What would happen if you or I pitched our tent and started a campaign in Grant Park? This hopefully won’t turn into another Woodstock.

Peaceful demonstration during business hours, fine. The rights of average citizens are trampled on otherwise.
