Fox Valley Park District hosts singing competition

Aspiring singers in the Aurora area will be critiqued “American Idol”-style Saturday, Oct. 8, when Fox Valley Pop Stars Showcase takes the stage at 7 p.m. at the Prisco Community Center, 150 W. Illinois Ave., Aurora.

Five area artists and teachers will judge the contestants, who were chosen through auditions and will have spent three days rehearsing before the performance.
