When: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Stadium
TV: BTN
Radio: WIND 560-AM.
Series: Illinois leads 44-21-3, and won 43-13 last season.
Coaches: Ron Zook (33-45, seventh year at UI); Kevin Wilson (1-4, first year at IU).
Players to watch: Illini WR A.J. Jenkins broke the school record with 268 receiving yards last week against Northwestern, while QB Nathan Scheelhaase threw for a career-high 391 yards. ... Indiana gave sophomore QB Dusty Kiel his first career start last week against Penn State. Kiel's younger brother, Gunner, rated by some as the top QB in the class of 2012, has committed to the Hoosiers.
The skinny: The Illini lost at Indiana in 2009, so they can't afford to look past their first road trip to next week's home game against Ohio State. Illinois ranks sixth nationally with 3.4 sacks per game and is led by junior DE Whitney Mercilus with 5.5 overall. Indiana has struggled to run the ball, with just 122 yards on 58 carries the past two weeks. But all four of the Hoosiers' losses have been by a touchdown or less, including 16-10 last week against Penn State.
Fast fact: The Illini have won three straight games by 3 points or less for the first time in school history.
