Seniors face health contradiction

One of the most controversial mandates in Obamacare requires all Americans to certify that by 2014 they have “purchased” health insurance. If they do not comply with this mandate, they will suffer the consequences of a tax penalty.

Yet, it has been revealed that in Obama’s newest jobs bill/deficit reduction plan No. 2, future Medicare beneficiaries would pay a “penalty” if they purchase private insurance that would cover all or most of Medicare’s co-payments and deductibles, Obama’s czars have determined that supplemental medical coverage for seniors encourage over treatment.

It seems to me that confusion reigns in the Obama White House. Americans will be penalized if they do not purchase Individual insurance. Conversely, American seniors will be penalized if they do buy Medicare Supplemental insurance.

Makes you wonder that they are drinking in Washington, D.C.
