Woodland Intermediate School fall play Nov. 3 and 4
Woodland Elementary District 50’s Intermediate School presents its fall production of “Law and Order: Nursery Rhyme Unit” Nov. 3 and 4.
Both performances begin at 7 p.m. in the school’s Multipurpose Room, 1115 N. Hunt Club Road, Gurnee.
Detective Green, played by Kellyn Johnson, and The Punnish Sir, played by Nate Twardock, are investigating the suspected egg-icide of Humpty Dumpty.
Follow along as they investigate the crime, collect evidence, interview the suspects and send the case to trial. All of your favorite nursery rhyme characters are suspects, but you’ll never guess who pushed Humpty off that wall.
The play, written by Jane and Jim Jeffries, is directed by April Cooksey and Pamela Valkenaar, assisted by Jordyn McCormack. This performance has been produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Englewood, Colo.
There will be a bake sale and raffle on both performance evenings, with proceeds going directly to the drama fund for future performances. Tickets cost $3; free for kids 12 and younger.
