Learn about ‘Great Chicago Fire’ at Aurora museum
Aurora Regional Fire Museum Curator David Lewis will present a 45-minute multimedia presentation about the history of the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.
Audience members can ask questions, see artifacts that survived the fire, and get a sneak peek at the museum’s proposed Chicago Fire exhibit after the presentation, which begins at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at 53 N. Broadway St., Aurora.
The presentation is free with admission to the museum at a suggested donation of $5 for adults and $3 for children, but reservations are required. Visit auroraregionalfiremuseum.org to make a reservation.
