Photographer John Starks won third place in the Picture Use category for his photo, titled “Reflective Pinner,” of a wrestling match between Dundee-Crown and Cary-Grove high school wrestlers.

In the Picture Story category, photographer George LeClaire received an honorable mention for his photos, “Fallen Marine Comes Home.” The photos were from the military funeral of U.S. Marine Cpl. James Stack, of Arlington Heights.
