Democrats gathering in Gurnee

Warren Township Democrats will host a meet-the-candidates event from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Gurnee village hall, 325 N. O’Plaine Road.

Confirmed guest speakers include: Brad Schneider, candidate in the 10th Congressional District; Dennis Anderson, candidate in the 14th Congressional District; Artis Yancy and Dr. Thomas Rudd, candidates for Lake County coroner; Cynthia Pruim Haran, Lake County circuit court candidate; Reggie Mathews, candidate for Lake County state’s attorney; state Rep. Carol Sente in the 59th District; Ed Erwin, candidate in Illinois House District 61; Lake County Board District 2 member Diane Hewitt; and Matthew Oclon, candidate for Lake County Board in District 7.
