Walker launches new website touting reforms
MADISON, Wis. — Gov. Scott Walker has launched a new website touting the results of reforms he pushed this year, including his proposal taking away nearly all collective bargaining rights from state workers.
The website launched Monday comes less than a month before his opponents say they will start a petition drive to force a recall election next year.
The website is www.reforms.wi.gov. Walker says the website will provide information for people who have asked what results have come from the changes his administration backed earlier this year.
The site includes testimonials from school officials talking about money they've saved from employees being required to pay more for their pensions and health care.
