Vote for your favorite Pink Glove Dance by Oct. 21

From doctors and nurses to hospital administrators and housekeeping staff, hundreds of health care professionals from nine Illinois hospitals and nursing homes are now starring in their own music videos as part of Medline's National Pink Glove Dance video competition.

Three winning agencies from across the country will be announced Oct. 28, and each will receive a donation in their name to the breast cancer charity of their choice. Get online and vote by Oct. 21.

The six northern Illinois competitors are:

Ÿ Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.

Ÿ Countryside Care Centre, Aurora.

Ÿ St. Patrick's Residence Nursing and Rehabilitation, Naperville.

Ÿ Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood.

Ÿ OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, Rockford.

Ÿ Swedish Covenant Hospital, Chicago.

The Advocate Good Shepherd video — to Katy Perry's “Firework” — has all kinds of hospital personnel in it, as well as Barrington and Lake Zurich firefighters. Should they win, hospital officials have pledged to contribute their $10,000 prize to the Y-Me National Breast Cancer Organization.
