Chef's Fest returns May 11

Chefs' Fest 2010 will be held 5-8 p.m. May 11 at Arlington Park Racecourse, Euclid Avenue and Wilke Road, Arlington Heights.

The fest, produced annually by the Woodfield Chicago Northwest Convention Bureau, will have food and beverage samplings from nearly 70 local restaurants.

Live entertainment will include jazz from Herb Porter & Friends, the Arlingtones barbershop choir and piano music from Big Shot Piano Lounge of Arlington Heights.

Lynfred Winery is conducting a "Wine 101" demonstration.

Nonperishable food donations will be collected for the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Tickets are $35; or $30 bought in advance. Group rates available.
