Breakfast talk to offer prostate cancer prevention tips

Prostate cancer is treatable and beatable. One man in six will get prostate cancer in his lifetime, and of those, one man in 35 will die from the disease.

All men are invited to Provena St. Joseph Hospital’s Bob and Edna Meadows Regional Cancer Care Center for a Man-to-Man Talk on Prostate Cancer presented by prostate cancer specialist, Dr. David Suh. There are two sessions, 9 a. m. and 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 8 at Bob and Edna Meadows Regional Cancer Care Center at Provena St. Joseph Hospital, 77 N. Airlite St., Elgin.

Breakfast will be served. PSA screening, a blood draw, will follow each lecture and results will be sent to you.
