Lake Villa student receives scholarship

Lake Villa resident Lori Eby was awarded a scholarship by the Blind Service Association at BSA’s recent annual meeting.

The scholarship was presented by BSA President Professor Ann Lousin. Eby, who is visually impaired, is a pursuing a master’s degree in social work.

BSA, located at 17 N. State St., Chicago, is a nonprofit organization that helps people who are blind and visually impaired achieve their personal and professional goals through one-on-one reading, support groups, low vision consultations, referral services and a scholarship program. All services are free.
