Kiwanis Club of Elgin to distribute peanuts
Submitted by Kiwanis Club of Elgin
The Kiwanis Club of Elgin will raise funds through its annual Peanut Day promotion Friday, Sept. 23.
Each year since 1951, local Kiwanis Clubs have been on the street corners, in front of stores, or at the train stations distributing Kiwanis peanuts. All of the funds raised from Peanut Day go to local organizations serving children, including the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin, Kids Hope United, Fox Valley Hospice, and the Community Crisis Center.
When you see members in red vests distributing peanuts Sept. 23, consider supporting the children of the Fox Valley. If you would like a box of peanuts delivered to you or your company, call Joe Stanczak at (847) 622-9072.
