Employment expo in Round Lake Beach

Job seekers can build their skills at an employment expo and workshops from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8 at the Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center, off Route 83 and Hook Drive.

Free workshops include: a motivational jump start; mindset training; dress for success and interview techniques; and effective resume writing and tips.

More than two dozen companies will be participating. Resume reviews and job seeking assistance will be offered all day.
