Three injured in Gurnee rollover crash
Three people were injured in a Monday morning crash in Gurnee involving two vehicles that both smashed into a pole after colliding, according to fire officials.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Gages Lake and Mill roads about 9:30 a.m., said Gurnee Fire Department Battalion Chief Robert Heraver.
A sedan and an SUV collided, flipping the SUV on its side and into a traffic signal pole. The sedan also struck the pole, Heraver said.
All three victims suffered nonlife-threatening injuries and were taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center for treatment.
The accident remains under investigation by the Lake County sheriff’s department.
