Scouting Chivas USA: Like the Fire, Chivas (7-11-10, 31 points) is hoping to win its way into playoff position. Chivas has lost its last three games without scoring a goal.

Scouting the Fire: Its first two-game winning streak of the season didn’t make it to three in MLS play, so the Fire (4-8-15, 27 points) will try to regain its momentum. Right back Dan Gargan is suspended due to yellow cards. Sebastian Grazzini and Dominic Oduro are nursing injuries.
