Liquor Barn eyes Wheeling store

A new packaged wine, spirits and liquor store may be open in Wheeling by Thanksgiving. The Wheeling village board is expected to vote Tuesday night whether to approve the proposal from Liquor Barn for a 10,500-square-foot store at 287 E. Dundee Road, in the Fresh Farms Shopping Center at Dundee Road and Milwaukee Avenue Liquor Barn is a father-son operation run by Michael Marcel Olshasky, who has had another location in Niles since 1982.
