Jefferson Ave. resurfacing begins Aug. 12

On Friday, August 12, 2011, work will begin to resurface Jefferson Avenue from Ogden Avenue to Birchwood Drive.

During construction, traffic will be reduced to one lane under flagger operation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route to avoid delays. The project is slated for completion in mid-September.

Message boards are in place along Jefferson Avenue to keep motorists up-to-date on the progress of the project. As always, the City will take all steps necessary to minimize any inconvenience to residents, motorists, businesses and all others who utilize Jefferson Avenue.
