Man injured after car strikes Arlingotn Heights tree
The driver of a two-door Volkswagen was hospitalized Tuesday night after smashing into a tree in Arlington Heights and rolling the vehicle into the middle of a park, police said.
Officials said the man remained at Northwest Community Hospital Tuesday night after hitting a tree on the 300 block of South Windsor Drive and rolling over at about 5:40 p.m.
Arlington Heights Police are investigating the crash, which they did not classify as an accident, but no further information was available Tuesday.
Somehow the vehicle came to a halt upright in the park after striking the tree.
The driver was the only person in the car.
More information will be available regarding the crash Wednesday morning, police said.
