One-term limits will right the ship

Voters have chosen to re-elect the politicians who are responsible for getting us into the worst crisis our nation has ever faced, with the support of most of the media who seem to have lost objectivity for these self-serving, greedy leaders who are now the foxes guarding the henhouse.

It isn’t surprising that Harry Reid came up with a plan his Democratic pals accepted, with Illinois Sen. Durbin right there with paddle, not to resolve the problems but simply delay them, that ensures we will all continue to be in threat.

The media recently had glowing interviews with former Congressman Hastert, not our presently elected U.S. Congressman, and as I read the articles I wondered if the writers weren’t aware Hastert had been re-elected too, then abandoned his entire district, leaving us without representation for some time in D.C.

Durbin’s wife is a lobbyist. Last I heard the media haven’t suggested that’s a conflict of interest. Latest scandal, the politician who claims his personal life is separate from his performance in D.C., owing $117,000 in child support. I believe the word that connects them is integrity.

I understand these same elected officials spent our Social Security funds they weren’t to touch and continue to spend, ignoring the mess they got us in. To play games with us and our once great country is recognized and not acceptable and worse to threaten the very people who served in our military, were wounded, some left with injuries to limit them severely is a disgrace.

When will voters wake up and say, “Enough is enough?” I’m not going to vote for these politicians who only serve themselves. And I, for one, don’t believe we’ve been represented for years by either party. Seems we’ve been sold out for their “One World Government.”

The only way to get rid of corrupt politicians is to demand one-term limits.
