Des Plaines tag days help History Center

Once again this year, the Des Plaines History Center held its annual “Tag Days” fundraiser in June. Many thanks to our volunteers, staff and board members who stood at street corners and at the entrances to local businesses to collect donations from generous drivers and passers-by.

When the contents of all the cans were added up at the end of the weekend, the History Center had received over $2,700 in contributions! These funds will go a long way toward helping us to continue to provide the local history programs, exhibits and research services we offer to the community.
