Residents urged to participate in online community survey

LOMBARD, Illinois--Lombard residents will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas by participating in an online community survey.

The community survey will be available on the Village's website, www.villageoflombard.org, under the “Quick Links” section on the lower left hand of the front page, beginning Aug. 1.

The online survey is a continuation of a random sample direct mail survey that was recently mailed to approximately 1,600 residents. The purpose of the survey is to gauge customer satisfaction with Village services.

“In order for us to improve our service to residents, we are conducting a random sample of the community so that we can obtain input on how we are doing but we need residents to share with us,” stated David Hulseberg, Village Manager.

“The more residents who respond, the better feedback we will obtain,” added Hulseberg. The Village conducted a community survey two years ago and its goal is to do so every other year.

Anyone with questions may contact Joelyn Kott, Communications Coordinator at (630) 620-5718 or by email at kottj@villageoflombard.org. The survey will be available to take online for approximately two weeks.
