Sky scouting report

Chicago Sky (6-6) at New York Liberty (6-5)

When: 3 p.m. at Prudential Center, Newark, N.J.

TV: Comcast CN100

Last time: On Saturday, the Sky defeated the visiting Atlanta Dream, 81-69; on Friday, the Liberty defeated the host San Antonio Silver Stars, 76-73.

Skinny: The Sky hopes to ride the momentum from its two-game winning streak right into the Big Apple. The trick will be getting tired legs to keep up. This is the Sky’s third game of the week and the second game of an early back-to-back. The Sky will be on the floor again 18 hours after closing out the Atlanta Dream at the Allstate Arena. … The Sky got a game-high 24 points out of guard Epiphanny Prince in the Atlanta win. … She was clutch at the line, hitting 8 of 8 free throws in the fourth quarter. … Prince will need to dig deep again. She likely will be matched up against Liberty star guard and Chicago native Cappie Pondexter, who is averaging 18.5 points per game.

Next: Tulsa Shock at Sky, 11:30 a.m. Wednesday
