Pitching matchups: The White Sox’ Mark Buehrle (6-5) vs. Jeff Francis (3-9) Monday at 6:10 p.m.; Jake Peavy (4-1) vs. Felipe Paulino (0-2) Tuesday at 7:10 p.m.; Edwin Jackson (5-6) vs. Bruce Chen (4-2) Wednesday at 1:10 p.m.

At a glance: After wrapping up interleague play Sunday against the Cubs at Wrigley Field, the White Sox are back home for seven straight games vs. AL Central opponents before hitting the all-star break. The Sox are 6-11 vs. the division so far. They split a two-game series at Kansas City in early April. The Sox have won six of their last seven home games against the Royals. In his last 10 starts, all quality outings, Buehrle is 5-2 with a 2.81 ERA.
