Updating the search: The NBA free-agent list

As the Bulls and the rest of the NBA wait for decisions by LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and other top free agents, here's a glance at the full list of free agents.

If the Bulls strike out with James and Wade, they'll try to secure one of the power forwards and will search for a shooting guard.

Lakers guard Shannon Brown, a Maywood native, would be an interesting target. The Bulls will also be searching for trade possibilities, because their cap space allows them to absorb salaries from other teams.

The free agent list includes: Paul Pierce, SF, Celtics - Reportedly agreed in principle to four years, $61 million to stay with Boston. Amare Stoudemire, PF, Suns - Close to accepting a five-year max deal from Knicks. Joe Johnson, SG, Hawks - Likely to accept max deal to stay in Atlanta. Ray Allen, SG, Celtics - Doc Rivers said he wants one more shot with this group of Celtics, so he's counting on a return.Richard Jefferson, SF, Spurs - Didn't help his high-maintenance rep by struggling in San Antonio. Shannon Brown, SG, Lakers - Is the Maywood native interested in starting at two-guard for the Bulls next year?Kyle Korver, SG, Jazz - Set NBA record for 3-point percentage last season. Brendan Haywood, C, Mavs - As one of the few centers available, he'll be in demand, but has been wildly inconsistent throughout career. Travis Outlaw, SF, Clippers - Scored 33 against the Bulls in a 2009 game. Udonis Haslem, PF, Heat - Will Miami have any money left to pay him? Al Harrington, SF, Knicks - Averaged 17.7 points last season. Raymond Felton, PG, Bobcats - Averaged 7.4 assists two years ago. Mike Miller, SG/SF, Wizards - Apparently is in demand. He met with Knicks early and received interest from Lakers, Clippers. Derek Fisher, SG, Lakers - Likely to keep firing for Lakers. Ronnie Brewer, SF/SG, Grizzlies - No qualifying offer from Memphis, so he's unrestricted. Luke Ridnour, PG, Bucks - Not much defense, but can make things happen offensively. Brad Miller, C, Bulls - Should have a few good years left. Randy Foye, PG/SG, Wizards - Early draft pick in '06 hasn't blossomed. Shaquille O'Neal, C, Cavs - Last full season before he turns 40. Jermaine O'Neal, C, Heat - If Miami won't have him back, who will? Rasual Butler, SF, Clippers - Can get hot from 3-point range. Larry Hughes, SG, Bobcats - Looking for somewhere he can have fun.
