Vernon Township giving away 3,000 face masks Wednesday

Residents of Vernon Township can receive a free face mask, while supply lasts, beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Vernon Township Administrative Office, 2050 N. Main St., in Buffalo Grove.

The township is giving away 3,000 masks in all to residents who drive up in a vehicle, officials said.

Vernon Township includes all or portions of the villages of Buffalo Grove, Indian Creek, Lincolnshire, Long Grove, Mettawa, Mundelein, Riverwoods, Vernon Hills, and the city of Lake Forest, as well as unincorporated areas.
