Middle class will take one for team

The “class wars” have been proclaimed between the rich and the middle class. I think we can predict the outcome by looking at another “war” that is being waged in professional sports — specifically the National Basketball Association, where the labor contract has expired and the owners have locked out the players.

This war, between the owners and the players, is described as a war between billionaires and millionaires. And in that situation, billionaires always win.

I think it is fair to say that the “class war” between the rich and middle class in America will have a similar outcome; the rich will beat the middle class — every time. For those of us in the middle class the message is clear, the rich want us to “take one for the team” again.
