Elgin Children’s Chorus plans summer camp

Do you love singing? The Elgin Children’s Chorus invites you to summer chorus camp.

The camp for children, ages 7 to 16 with unchanged voices, will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 20, through Saturday, June 25, at Elgin Community College Arts Center, 1700 Spartan Drive in Elgin.

Enjoy a week of choral singing, polish up on music skills, socialize with other singers, learn rhythm and dance, and be part of an all-camp concert at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 25, on the ECC Blizzard Theatre stage.

You’ll get to work with the chorus directors as you sing a variety of music, learn the secrets of solfège, relax during snack time with your new friends, and meet other children who love to sing as much as you!
