Berenstain Bears author to visit Midwest
MILWAUKEE — An author and illustrator of the Berenstain Bears books will be in southeastern Wisconsin.
Mike Berenstain is the son of Stan and Jan Berenstain, who introduced the first Berenstain Bear books in 1962.
Though Stan died in 2005, Jan and her son continue to create the bear adventures from their family home in Pennsylvania.
He will be at Books and Company in Oconomowoc Monday night.
He also plans stop in Chicago and Indianapolis this week to meet fans and sign books.
