Walsh wrong on race remark

It seems Rep. Joe Walsh thinks so little of the Democrats he represents that he says the only reason they voted for Barack Obama is because he’s black. Well, I have news for the congressman: I didn’t vote for Obama because of his color. I voted for him because I believe that, unlike Walsh, he actually cares about the middle class.

Like most Americans, after eight years of President Bush, I was ready to put a Democrat in the White House, regardless of his color. I guess Rep Walsh hasn’t figured out why that might be. But regardless of whether or not Walsh learned anything from the last presidential election, he owes it to his district to take a break from attending tea party events and finding cameras to get in front of and apologize for his offensive and racist comments.
