2 in custody for grisly Wisconsin homicide
BROOKFIELD, Wis. — Two people are being held in the death of a Brookfield businessman.
Court records say 63-year-old John Aegerter was beaten and bound, had plastic bags over his head and his face wrapped in duct tape. Police found Aegerter's body in his garage on Wednesday after he failed to show up for work. The victim owned communications companies.
Documents say Aegerter may have been strangled or his neck broken and his ankles and neck were wrapped with electrical cords.
Records state Aegerter may have been killed in a dispute over money. The documents say one of the two people in custody told a cousin that Aegerter owed her husband money for work he had done for the victim.
The Journal Sentinel says (http://bit.ly/m88dBb ) a Waukesha County court commissioner found probable cause Thursday to hold the two on suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide, party to a crime.
