Learn canoeing skills at forest preserve

You can learn basic canoeing skills June 18 in a program at the Independence Grove Forest Preserve near Libertyville. The event will run from 1-4 p.m. and is open to adults or families with kids at least 12 years old. Equipment will be provided. Admission is $29 for Lake County residents or $41 for anyone else.
