Keep it to a dull roar on July 4

The Fourth of July is approaching, and I want it to be a fun and respectful time for all. Please supervise kids under age 12 when setting off fireworks. Respect noise curfews. Please stick to what is legal in your area. Some of you are going to stray, so to those of you I say this: as long as it’s not M-80s.

And lastly, please try to curtail your activity to the actual Independence Day Weekend. Countless dogs, autistic children, vets coping with post-traumatic stress disorder and police officers will appreciate your cooperation.
