Geneva Twp. assessor treats you right
As a real estate agent and a property owner in Geneva, I have had many opportunities to interact with the Geneva Township Assessor’s office.
In my opinion, the attitude and professionalism of the office has changed 180 degrees in the last few years. The previous assessor was combative and downright rude to property owners. The new staff knows the meaning of customer service.
Assessment appeals are currently being processed, and while you may not agree with the assessor’s final decision, you will understand how the value was logically developed. If you decide to appeal, do your research and the assessor’s staff will treat you the right way.
