Crash ties up I-90 near Hoffman Estates

One person was injured in a three vehicle crash on I-90 near Hoffman Estates during rush hour Tuesday.

Police said one vehicle ended up in a ditch and one person was transported to St. Alexius Medical Center with minor injuries after the 5:36 p.m. crash.

The right lane of traffic was shut down until 6:15 p.m. as emergency crews worked to tow two of the vehicles, said Illinois State Police Sgt. Julio Serrano.
