Refuse collection changes for week of July 4

Due to the July Fourth Holiday on Monday, July 4, collection services for refuse, yardwaste and recycling will change for the single-family residences served by GROOT Recycling and Waste Services, the Village of Arlington Heights service provider.

Collection services during the week of July 4, 2011, will change to the following schedule:

For single-family residences north of Oakton:

Single-family residences north of Oakton will have refuse and yardwaste pick-up on Tuesday, July 5 and refuse and recycling pick-up on Friday, July 8.

For single-family residences south of Oakton:

That south of Oakton will have refuse and yardwaste pick-up on Wednesday, July 6 and refuse and recycling pick-up on Saturday, July 9.

GROOT Recycling and Waste services provides collection services for single-family residences in the village. Waste hauling services may be contracted with a different provider for those residing in private property developments. For any questions on services or billing, please call GROOT at (800) 344-5600.
