There’s no hope for quality president

Well, it looks like we are in for another circus in the presidential race. The country is in bad shape and there is no one who knows how to fix it. Past presidents and Congresses have been messing it up by increments for years with their small special interest laws for campaign donors’ payback tinkering. Most, if not all, of the people running are responsible for the problem.

As a cure for our troubles, we will get people with “personality,” novelty shop hairdos, plastic grins and other two-dimensional traits espousing popular causes but no solutions. And still we will go on waiting for that one person with the answers.

Yes, there are people with answers but they wouldn’t be caught dead running for office. Remember, if you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas.
