Villa Park Rec offers aqua fitness classes
Get fit in the water this summer with Villa Park Recreation. Choose from Aquacise or Deep Water Workout and cool off while working out.
Aquacise will meet at Jefferson Pool from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Mondays, June 6-July 25.
Water resistance helps provide a great workout for all ages and abilities.
This low-impact class includes 30 minutes of cardiovascular training followed by 30 minutes of muscle toning. Swimming skills are not required.
Deep Water Workout will let you burn calories, tone and tighten all while enjoying the pool. Through the use of resistance weights and noodles, you will
maximize the benefits of water resistance.
This class meets at Lufkin Pool from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturdays, June 11-July 30. The fee for both classes is $45.
