Tour historic Stevenson house in Mettawa

You can learn about the late-governor and ambassador Adlai E. Stevenson II by touring his historic home near Mettawa on June 26. Tours of the property, now owned by the Lake County Forest Preserve District, are set for 1 and 2:30 p.m. They’re open to adults and families with children at least 8 years old.
